Parameter settings in the systemLARS® octal system 1. “System” – system number, 1 through 3 2. “Transmitter number” – individual transmitter number in octal notation (000-777) 3. “Group” – group number, A through P 4. Defines normal state of alarm inputs. Each input is individually programmed: mode C: normally closed or O: normally open. 5. Defines alarm signal mode: N-only alarm signal, R- alarm signal and return to normal state signal. Each input is individually programmable. 6. “Number of codes in the telegram” – defines the number of words in a single telegram transmission. 7. “Test repetitions number” – defines the number of periodical test repetitions. 8. “Alarm repetitions number” – defines the number of alarm telegram repetitions or the number of return to normal state messages. 9. “Test repetition time” - defines the time interval between successive periodical test messages. In the first window the number of hours is set (h), in the second window the number of quarters of an hour (15 min) (from 0 to 3). 10. “Alarm repetition time” – defines the time interval between successive repetitions of alarm telegrams in seconds (s). 11. “Power fail delay” – defines the time of continuous external power failure, after which transmission of the alarm message will be enabled; hours (h) and quarters of an hour (qtr). 12. “Power fail alarm” – activated “[x]” or disactivated “[]”. 13. “Test repetition time reset” – enables the function of resetting the timer counting time interval between periodical test telegrams by other telegrams. Disabling this function off results in sending periodical tests in regular time periods defined by the user, regardless of alarm telegrams sent. |
